Should I leave a gratuity for my massage therapist?

Many clients are unsure of how much they should tip their massage therapist. We suggest thinking of it like tipping a waiter at a restaurant. Our therapists are passionate about their work, and your tip shows your appreciation for their service. We recommend an 18-22% tip based on the full price of the massage. Of course, you are welcome to tip more or less depending on your experience and the level of service you received.

What time should I arrive for my session?

Please arrive 5 minutes before your session. If you are more than 5 minutes late, you will receive the remaining time allocated for your session.

Where are you located?

In West Sedona next to Judi’s Restaurant. The address is 40 Soldiers Pass Rd, # 14, Sedona AZ 86336. Mobile massage sessions are available in the Sedona area.

What are your hours?

Our hours are daily from 9am - 6pm.

What are your payment options?

We accept cash, Venmo, and credit cards including Visa, Discover, Mastercard, and American Express.

Are you a licensed Massage Therapist?

Yes, all therapists are licensed.

Will I be naked during my massage?

You may undress to your level of comfort. Many people prefer to keep their underwear on during a massage, while others choose to be nude. This is completely up to you. You will get undressed in the privacy of your massage room and will be covered by a blanket and a sheet during your massage session, except for the area being massaged. If you need extensive work on your hips or groin, we may ask you to keep your underwear on.

What should I wear?

For Thai yoga sessions bring or wear loose or stretchy pants and a shirt. If you forget or don’t have something appropriate, Thai pants are available for your convenience! All other sessions will be done with traditional draping and specific clothing is not required.

Can I get a massage while pregnant?

Massage is generally considered safe for expecting mothers during their second and third trimesters. Please inform your therapist if you’re pregnant, even if you’re not showing yet, so they can adjust techniques, target areas, and positioning on the table to suit your needs.

When should I avoid getting a massage?

If you're feeling unwell, have a fever, or are dealing with an active injury, it's best to wait until you're fully recovered. However, after recovering from a cold, massage can help you regain your energy. We do not offer massage during the first trimester of pregnancy. If you are undergoing chemotherapy, please wait 72 hours after your treatment before coming in for a session. If you have a serious medical condition, it's a good idea to consult with your primary care provider before booking to ensure it’s safe for you.

Should I be quiet or talk during my massage?

Whatever feels natural for you, whether that means quiet reflection or a little conversation. Massage is meant for you to relax both your mind and body, so there's no need to feel obligated to talk with your therapist. However, if you’re experiencing thoughts or emotions and wish to share, you’re always welcome to express yourself.

Whether you prefer silence or conversation, be sure to let your therapist know if you need any adjustments to temperature, pressure, music, or a bathroom break. This ensures that you have the best experience possible.

What if I need to use the restroom during my massage?

No problem at all! Just let us know, and we’ll pause your session while you take care of your needs.

What if I fall asleep and snore or drool?

That’s a compliment! It means you’re truly relaxed, which is exactly our goal.

Will the massage hurt?

While there may be some discomfort when tight or tense muscles are massaged, it should be minimal with a primary focus on relaxation. If you experience persistent pain or discomfort, let your therapist know so they can adjust the pressure. Also, sharing any injuries can help avoid unnecessary discomfort during and after your massage.

How well-groomed do I need to be for a massage?

While we ask our clients to be mindful of cleanliness and hygiene, there’s no need to worry about shaving your legs. Just arrive comfortably.
